Open mic at the Lotus is sure to satisfy both musicians and audience members alike. With a mix of solo performers and full band jam sessions with rotating instrumentation, we are finding just how much talent Ridgway and the surrounding areas really has to offer.
Want to participate? Great- signups start at 5:30. Just bring your instrument, and we will handle the rest. PA system, mics, drums, bass, it's all here.

MUSIC BINGO
Welcome the latest addition to our regular evening entertainment lineup: Music Bingo, happening the second Thursday of each month, beginning December 11 at 7pm. Keep showing up and we'll keep playing!
HOW TO PLAY:
Your host will tell you the winning pattern such as a line, two lines, blackout (full house) and then play you a selection of songs. As soon as you hear a song shown on your bingo card, you mark it off.
The aim of the game is to mark off enough songs to get the winning pattern.
And of course we encourage you to enjoy the music and singalong with your friends, family and co-workers when playing. Just don’t enjoy the music so much that you forget to shout BINGO when you get the winning pattern!

Some music cannot be found on a map or within iTunes categories. Some music is so original it seems snatched from the great, invisible substrata that runs below all human activity, a sound aching to be born without a flag or fixed allegiance – free, questing, overflowing with immediate, tangible life. This is the music of Toubab Krewe, the vibrant instrumental powerhouse that creates a sonic Pangaea that lustily swirls together rock, African traditions, jam sensibilities, international folk strains and more. While nearly impossible to put into any box, it takes only a few moments to realize in a very palpable way that one is face-to-face with a true original who recognizes no borders in a march towards a muscular, original, globally switched-on sound.

The vision for Floating Lotus Brewery was born out of a love for music, craft beer, and most importantly; community. The Floating Lotus Brewery in Ridgway, CO aims to be a "third space" for folks to gather 'round and sit a spell. Hospitality is the name of our game, and you can always expect friendly service. A relaxed and comfortable atmosphere lends itself to fostering meaningful conversations, encouraging collaboration, and promoting a sense of connectedness. Our goal is to be enmeshed in the vibrant community of Ridgway, and contribute to its flourishing arts and music scene. We hope to be a staple for locals and visitors alike.
Kenny Conley
Kenny is the visionary + brewmaster. You'll find him brewing, behind the bar, and maybe even on stage with one of his music projects. A craft beer aficionado, he started his journey as a brewery patron, and over time began home brewing and then commercial brewing. When he's not making beer, he is snowboarding. His favorite beer is the Blastoplast...but don't tell the other beers that.
